Mass Email Marketing vs Sending BCC From Gmail

Mass email marketing services are used to send newsletters, offers, and outreach campaigns to new and returning clients.

The most mainstream service that provides mass email sending is Mailchimp. For some people it works fine, but large senders and privacy oriented businesses often want more control.

Why sending bulk emails through your standard email client using bcc/cc is not effective:

Email clients are not designed to handle large send volumes, and doing so may result in your account being flagged for spam or even suspended.

Also, deliverability gets worse, because spam filters see that behavior as suspicious, and your emails end up in spam folders or not delivered at all.

What makes a real mass email system different:

A) You can build your own dedicated IP sender reputation

B) You can build your own domain sender reputation

C) It sends each email individually so recipients don't reply to each other

D) It can handle at least 5000 emails per hour (better if higher)

E) You can check campaign performance (delivered, views, ctr, etc)

F) It can handle auto unsubscribes, list cleaning, spam reports, and law compliance

Bottom line

If you want consistent deliverability and you don't want your normal inbox to get banned, use a real mass email marketing system, not bcc blasts.
