Website Design

Five ways to get a website, priced so the difference is visible. The cheapest is a builder we set up and hand to you. The most expensive is a custom build with a payment processor behind it. Most businesses need the one in the middle.

Every tier is hand written HTML, CSS and JavaScript rather than a page builder, which is why the sites load in under a second and pass a Core Web Vitals assessment. A page builder puts about 900 of its own references into a home page and charges you the load time for them.

What it costs

How it works

  1. You send what you haveExisting site, logo, photographs, the text you already use with customers. If the old site is gone we can usually recover it from the Internet Archive; we have done it more than once.
  2. We build itTwo to four weeks for Tier 1 and Tier 2, longer for a storefront. You see it on a staging URL before anything goes live.
  3. You own itThe domain stays in your name, on your registrar account. The source is yours. If you leave, you leave with everything.

Who this is for

Who this is not for

You want to build and edit it yourself, every week
Then Tier 0 is the honest answer. We set up a drag and drop builder, hand you the keys and charge you nothing for a design you are going to change anyway.
Your current site works and only its documents are broken
Then do not buy a rebuild. A Website Quality Audit is $500 and tells you exactly what is wrong. Sometimes the answer is four hours of repair.
You need it live this week
We cannot do that well. A rushed site is the one you replace in a year, which makes it the expensive option.
