Office IT Maintenance

A managed IT contract charges the same every month whether anything happened or not, and the months where nothing happens are what pay for it. This is billed for the hours actually used.

The work is the ordinary kind: the machine that will not print, the account for the person who started Monday, the update that broke something, the backup that needs checking because nobody has checked it.

What it costs

$150 per hour Billed by the hour, on site in the Miami area or remotely where the work allows it. No monthly minimum, and no charge in a month where nothing needed doing.

Who this is for

• A business too small to employ somebody for IT and too big to keep asking the owner's nephew.
• A business whose last IT person left and took the passwords with them.
• A business paying a monthly contract it uses twice a year.

Who this is not for

You need somebody there every day

At that volume an employee is cheaper than our hourly rate, and we will do the arithmetic with you rather than sell you the hours.

You need a guaranteed response time

Hourly work is scheduled, not on call. If a stopped machine stops your revenue by the hour, you need a contract with a response time in it, and this is not that.

You are outside the Miami area

Remote work we can do from anywhere. Anything involving a cable, a printer or a person standing at a desk is Miami area only.
