Business Workstation Setup

A new machine out of the box takes somebody two or three hours to make useful, and that somebody is usually whoever is least busy rather than whoever knows how. The result is ten machines set up ten different ways.

This is a fixed price per workstation, built from a written standard: the same accounts, the same software, the same printer, the same backup and the same security settings on every machine, so the eleventh takes an hour rather than three.

What it costs

$250 per workstation Per workstation, on site in the Miami area. The written standard is built once with you and reused on every machine after that, including the ones you buy next year.

How it works

1. We agree the standard onceWhat software every machine gets, who is an administrator and who is not, where the files live, what is backed up. Written down, so it survives the person who agreed it.
2. We build each machine to itAccounts, updates, software, printers, mail, backup and disk encryption. The user signs in and their work is already there.
3. You get the listWhich machine has which serial, which licence and which warranty date. That list is what makes the next audit and the next purchase easy.

Who this is not for

You have one machine

A single workstation is usually cheaper by the hour. Office IT Maintenance is $150 an hour and a single setup rarely fills two.

You are outside the Miami area

This is on-site work and we do not travel for it. Some of it can be done remotely, but not the part where somebody puts the machine on the desk.

You want us to supply the hardware

We do not sell the machines. Buy them where you like, including wherever your accountant prefers, and we will set up whatever arrives.
